Salt'sUp is Estonia’s first brand dedicated to gourmet salts. Our mission is simple – to bring the world’s finest and most exciting salts to your table and to show that salt is much more than just a white powder on your food. Every salt has its own story, origin and character, which transforms food into an experience.
It all began with a simple question: why do we use the same salt every day when there are hundreds of different kinds in the world? Whilst travelling, we discovered that every country and region has its own unique salt – from Himalayan pink salt to Hawaiian black lava salt and French Fleur de Sel. Each salt tastes different, looks different and gives food a completely different character.
Salt’sUp grew out of this joy of discovery. At first, it was just a little hobby – collecting salts from our travels and introducing them to friends. But it soon became clear that there was nowhere in Estonia where you could really get to know gourmet salts. So we decided to create that place ourselves.
Today, we’ve grown into a family comprising an online shop, a physical salt shop and a unique salt café. Our range includes over 30 different gourmet salts and over 30 different peppers from all corners of the world – and this selection is constantly growing.
We’re primarily an online shop, but our cosy salt shop at Kentmanni 19, Tallinn is always open when we’re there. We’re generally open on weekdays from 10am to 6pm, but feel free to pop in at other times too – if the door’s open and we’re packing salt, do come on in! We’re sure to find you some exciting salts.
Our range includes over 30 different gourmet salts and over 30 different peppers from all corners of the world. You can also sample the salts in the shop, and our salt specialists will help you find the perfect salt to suit your taste. The Salt Shop is also the perfect place to find a gift – our salt sets and gift boxes are sure to delight any food lover.

Salt'sUp, a salt café at Tööstuse 33, Tallinn, is one of Tallinn’s smallest cafés – but all the more cosy for it! We bake our beer bread on the premises, make delicious cheesecake and other tasty treats. Come and see for yourself – it’s always cosy and warm here.
All our salts and peppers are available to sample right here in the café. Just pop in, have a go and find your favourite!
